The type changes from one game to the next, and the board itself is new every single time. These are what you could be walking into.

• Open BoardNo special rule. A straight board, rare words hiding in plain sight.
• DecoyTrust nothing. The easy words are bait.
• ScarceThe alphabet didn't all show up today. Make do with what's left.
• CopseA few consonants show up twice. Watch for the pairs.
• VanishingThe board is vanishing. One letter goes every round, and only 15 are left by the end.
• SequoiaSome letters just keep appearing. Lean into them.
• ThicketTangled and stubborn. The grid doesn't give anything away easily.
