Told us the paper background was hard on her eyes. The whole site had been built on one cream page and nobody had asked whether it worked for everyone reading it. The grain came off for every player, and four settings went on their own page: contrast, page size, motion and link underlines, each applying to every page of the site.

Asked for a single list of every word she had played, because Encore scores a repeat lower and there was no way to remember which words she had already used. The page existed but only ever showed EPIC and rarer words, so it was hiding about a third of a typical player's vocabulary. It now lists every word, A to Z, with Rare and Encore as filters.

Asked for a clearer signal when a submitted word was an Encore repeat. The small ENCORE tag on the floating overlay was easy to skim past, so it grew into an oxblood banner with the tax spelled out ('was +N').

Co-proposed a confirmation card BEFORE the submit lands, alongside six other players over six weeks. Now an opt-in setting that reveals a small card when your typed word would be Encore-taxed, with Pick another / Submit anyway.

Noticed that the word box answered to typing and to tapping tiles differently: put the cursor mid-word and TYPE a letter and it lands there, TAP the same letter on the grid and it went to the end. One field, two answers, depending on which surface you touched. Tapping now inserts at the cursor on the daily board, the replay board and Outlier Live, and the on-screen backspace deletes at the cursor to match. Cursor at the end, which is almost every tap, behaves exactly as before.

Asked what the difference between Orbit and Groups actually is, and said it was confusing. He was right, and more right than the first answer allowed: the overlap is real but conditional. Joining a group follows everyone both ways only in groups of fifty or fewer, and above that it follows nobody. Measured later: 98.3% of co-member pairs in small groups carry a follow edge, 4.5% in large ones. The FAQ now states the rule and the cutoff instead of promising the lists always overlap.

Asked whether disabling Orbit makes your whole profile private. It does not, and nowhere on the site said so. Four separate toggles all mention Orbit or your profile and none of them stated where they stop. The FAQ now spells out that Disable Orbit is only about following, that your profile stays public and your games still count, and that hiding your following list deletes nothing.

Was the first player to ask for a confirmation before submitting an Encore-taxed word. Six other players wrote in with the same idea over the following weeks; the opt-in warning shipped 2026-08-27 traces back to this early note.

Proposed the two new terrains and their mechanics. Copse pairs three or four consonants; Sequoia repeats one to three letters three or four times. Both now run weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays and rotate into the Live pool.

Asked what the 'Captured X% of today's Outlier' line on the results page meant. It was on the page with no context; the FAQ now has an entry that answers it directly.

Reported that navigating from another player's profile to a country leaderboard put the YOU chip on both that player and the viewer. The chip now only marks the actual viewer; the row you came from still auto-opens.

Reported that deleting her account did nothing because signing back in silently un-deleted the row. The delete route now detaches the auth identity, so a self-delete stays deleted and the next sign-in mints a fresh account.
