Terms of Service

OUTLIER is a free daily word game. One puzzle goes out each day; you score points for the rarest words you find.

We may change, pause, or update the game at any time as we keep building it.

Play the game as intended. Don't use scripts, bots, or automated tools to submit guesses or scrape the site.

Don't attempt to break, overload, or interfere with the service or other players' experience.

One result per player per day. Manipulating scores or the leaderboard isn't allowed.

When you claim a handle it becomes your public name on the leaderboard and profile.

Keep handles reasonable. We may reclaim or reset handles that are offensive, impersonate someone, or are used in bad faith.

The OUTLIER name, puzzles, design, and code belong to OUTLIER. The daily grids and word lists are ours.

You're welcome to share your results and screenshots — that's the point.

OUTLIER is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the game will always be available or error-free.

To the extent allowed by law, we aren't liable for any loss arising from your use of the game.

We may update these terms as the game evolves; the date above shows the latest version.
