Outlier is a word game first, with a trivia game beside it and a few ways to play each. Themed Trivia is the newest door in. Here's which game suits which mood, and what a themed game does and doesn't count toward.
Which game to play when
The dailies set the rhythm. For more, Quick Ten and Themed Trivia are there whenever you like, and a pack is the one to pick when you'd rather go deep on one subject than wide across twenty.
What a themed game counts toward
That makes a pack safe to play for fun. A rough game in a subject you barely know can drag down your average on that pack's board and your Themed points, but it can't touch the rating you've built in Quick Ten and Today's Ten.
An Outlier day with all of it
A full day might go like this: the word board at lunch, Today's Ten straight after, a Live game with friends in the evening, and a pack before bed when you want trivia on your own terms. Each keeps its own record, so playing more of one never costs you in another.
Everyone gets ten free themed games to try. Read the overview for the details.
