This word is so bizarre because there are NO other animals that resemble giraffes. Only giraffes are giraffoid. Even my spell check thinks it shouldn't be a word.

I knew this word from visiting the Mütter Museum and seeing the soap lady exhibit. The soil composition and boggy conditions of her burial allowed anaerobic bacteria to proliferate and contribute to saponification. It's also called "grave wax"

I am a fan of a certain Australian cooking show and on some challenges they use native plants. Warrigal/warragal greens are one of them: eat the weeds!
