Where it comes from

The jacket is named after Italian patriot Giuseppe Garibaldi, who wore a red shirt of similar appearance. The biscuit is also named after Garibaldi. (This etymology is missing or incomplete. Please add to it, or discuss it at the Etymology scriptorium. Particularly: “What about the fish?”)
